, then it was just never going to happen.
But it’s actually so cute!.I just picked up a package of these red color coding labels and stuck two together over a piece of white thread to create each “polka dot”.. I’m so glad I invested the 10 minutes one evening to actually try this idea out.
It makes me so happy!.I thought I was all done in the Staples store and I was ready to leave when I came across the yard sticks.Or rather, I guess in Canada technically they’d be metre sticks..
I don’t know what it is about yard sticks, but I just think they’re really neat-looking.Anyway, we went out to the garage and cut two of them into different lengths like this:.
We made each piece about 2 inches longer than the last, then we glued them all together and suddenly they were a tree!.
So simple, but so cute!We made those neat divided trays too, so glasses, bottles, and whatever other beverage accoutrements we might need can be easily carried back and forth from the kitchen.. A bar for your deck is a good thing, but an.
bar for your deck is just the bees knees!Speaking of which, I was happy to have a nice sunny day without any bees knees or any other bugs’ knees getting into our drinks the other day to enjoy our new Rustic Beverage Center before we pack it up this Friday and head off to the Cottage Life Show!.
Don’t forget that I’ll be speaking there on Saturday and showing off my beverage center in person on the CIL Main Stage, so make sure you stop by and say hello if you’re going to be in the Toronto area!.Thanks so much to CIL for sponsoring this post, challenging me to create this project, and for inviting me to join them on stage this Saturday.
